Kutter, ain't that the truth. Bell had no trouble using the 6.5 M/S and it isn't as speedy as the aforementioned 6.5 Swede.

When Dad was still hunting, he's 84 now and quit a few years ago, he used a Savage made SMLE, in full military dress, for years. It always worked.

Yes, with the heavy 215 grain solids. I believe he had an aversion to heavy recoil.

Works just fine, I use the 215gr Woodleigh in my modern made Verney-Carron double rifle
