Yes, that action is an ideal low budget base for a .416 Rigby. Go for it. Al Biesen built an outrageous .416 Rigby on a 1917 action for Jack O'Connor. That gun is kind of "Lost in Space". It was pictured in an O'Connor article years ago, but is missing from accounts of his collection in books that seem to include every other gun he ever owned. Those who are interested in such things, including me, can't even seem to locate the original article.
