Thanks for the responses. To amend my story, the gun I received met neither the description given on the website or over the phone. Disappointing, but not the end of the world. My issue, perhaps not very well told in my first post, was with the customer service. When I would call, up to and including the day my card account showed the credit, which was the 28th. So even though their accounting dept had done its job in 4 business days, nobody there could tell me what the status of my reimbursement was until the 29th. Given the relatively quick responses to my questions prior to the sale, I was very disappointed.
That said I have had many positive experiences ordering guns over the phone. The most recent was from Ivory Beads who was extremely fair when I returned a gun, they not only reimbursed the purchase price but the shipping fees as well. They were very responsive before and after the sale, and made it quite clear that they wanted my business in the future. My card was credited the day after it arrived.
