They are still assembling the RBL's. With limited production capacity, they can't continue to make them and produce new products at the same time.
There priorities are obviously to produce A-10's and Inverness's at this time.
Incidentally, the Inverness was never advertised as coming with a case of any sort. At $3,000, I don't see how or why they would want to incur the extra expense. My A-10's did come cased. I only had to spend an additional $5,000 to get them.
The small-frame A-10 weighs 6lbs, 7oz, with 30" bbls....no grip cap.
CSMC might be willing to remove some wood from the buttstock and reduce the weight by several ounces. My guess is this would have a negative impact on gun balance.
The Inverness is a great gun and, at the intro price, a ridiculous bargain. There is nothing out there that remotely approaches it.
