True on the short reamer run. Should have said I am sizing the 25 Krag cases body with a 30/40 die that never touches the neck at all. It does clean the shoulder up nice after going through the 3 case forming dies, set to size the neck only. Thing about a .25 Krag is there is no standard anything.
Complicated but two main points,
If you can get a gunsmith to turn key the job Rifle and Dies it's the way to go, I just never had any luck with that path. If not let the rifle set what you are going to do to the cases. Long as they are smaller and chamber, blow out with a forming load, after work the case necks only with a neck sizer die.
On my .25 I thought about a ring base sizer die however down by the Web it's all but impossible to get any size out of sizers. Pretty quick and easy to turn them down just a bit.
