Their guns, from the photos look really nice and if Toby Barclay and FP think they are fine guns, that's a good enough endorsement for me. I too hope they are successful. Others have tried and have not made it. Along this line, I recently purchased a 12 ga Jason Abbot. This gun is a very well made gun and really as nice as many of the 'big' names. Unfortunately, however, Jason Abbot personally told me he was not able to compete and quit making his guns in the 80's, I believe. Maybe today's economy is more suitable for such a venture and I for one don't blame these people for using a famous name like Manton possibly to gain an 'edge' in what is surely a competitive undertaking. I wish them success.
