James your a life saver. Yes I will gladly take one. That will be thefinishing touch. I picked this up at an auction with the broken stock. And I almost parted it out, but the bore is good so here we are. Another project rifle. Al Lind did not have a pattern for this at all. He used one of his patterns and bedded my front end to his pattern and then profiled it. So yes Al has a pattern now for these rifles. Next is the scope. I have two and I would bet that nont one of the two will fit or align up the claw mounts. So that will be the next phase. And yes thanks for the picture of the model with the side panels. They are weak in that area due to the thick action. The panels will help give some extra strength. And I will cut the panels down to match your fine example. Thanks you all for the time and help with saving this old Steyr from the boneyard. If you ever need a wonderful stock maker to work with on a project get in touch with Al Lind, you would need to look high and low to find a better qualified person to handle the work.
