Gunter,Raimey,
I didn't see the question about nickel silver until now. It's hard to say what is meant w/o the gun "in hand".This material can be used in hard soldering( as can other materials)which is a brazing process,or in inlays( as can other materials). The fact that they mentioned sheets does not preclude the use in joining the lugs to the barrels. Walter Grass told me that when Heym started new production after the war, materials were in short supply and they used cartridge cases hammered into sheets. We sometimes only have advertisements to provide information, but they are sometimes mislealing.A lot of gunsmithing "lingo" is "terms of art",which are sometimes misapplied in advertisements, and a lot of times mistranslated.Normally, joining the lugs would be done with "hard solder",and joining the tubes/ribs, would be done with "soft solder"( lead/tin mix),so both could still be used.
