I recently got to make a new buttstock for a 1894. The customer snapped the stock at the wrist, then tried to repair it himself using jb weld...if done proffesionally the stock could have been saved.

During the restocking I was surprised at the overall quality of the 1894, it would make a great action for a custom project. I intend to do one for myself, maybe even making a new set of rifle barrels for it.
