There looks to be a size able gap on the right rear portion of the forend to barrel fit, left side not so obvious, but still there. Trigger guard tang looks a hair proud as well. Could just be the lighting or angle of the pics though. Case colors and damascus finishes look very nice.
I have 4 12 gauge pre-1913 Smiths- one )) and the rest are grade 2 and up--all have the semi-curve capped pg (including the OO grade) and all shown the rear of the guard bow at a tad "proud" of the inlet groove in the wood-
