To the Slugs: 2-piper is right with the so called rifled slugs, they are for smooth-bore. I mean you can shoot the Brenneke 16/70 Classic, but I'm not sure if it is the same as in Germany. So I just sent a question to Brenneke here in Germany. Will let you know, what they answer.

To the D.R.P. again, DRP is a Reichspatent (Patent of German Reich) in each case, but I don't know exactly if for the soft solder or for the Merkel "Bock" (means O/U which was invented by Merkel)

Gunwolf I can easily get Brenneke Classic magnum slugs, 16 gauge. They are available at Academy store, a national sporting goods store. But note the word MAGNUM, which I cannot use. I do not see anywhere the Brenneke Classic in non magnum. As you know, 16 gauge limits the availability somewhat. In the USA we are approximately say 70% 12 gauge, 25% 20 gauge, 410 bore probably next in amount of use, then 28 gauge, then 16 gauge. In my estimation 16 gauge is the least used gauge here. Anyway, the Remington rifled slugs I used MIGHT be ok unless their accuracy remains erratic.
