I've found a Fausti that is Italian made and might be a decent gun. It weighs 5.75 lbs with 26" barrels. It does have double triggers, but also a straight stock. It is nib, but was originally imported by Traditions.

I'd have to spend a lot of money customizing it to make it into a turkey gun, but it might work. Anyone familiar with these? The price is low enough that I could buy it and shoot it to test the POI with the turkey shells. Looks like a nice enough gun that it would just be worth keeping for a bird gun if it won't shoot the heavy loads straight.

Is there anyone that would make me an American style pistol grip stock for it if I decided to make it a turkey gun? The quality of the wood wouldn't make much difference since it will get a camo skin anyway. I dunno if anyone even does such work.

Thanks for any help.
