The gun has been to the Belgian proof house.

I think you are spot on. Didn't think of Turc right off. Forsaken Gothic or Fraktur text - Damas Turc Fin

Think it was made in Liège, Belgium in fact of the proof stamps.
The barrels are not "turkish" but made of fine belgium turkish damascus steel.
