Ha - Must be 6.5 month. I've just sent a FN post war commercial action away to have a 6.5-06 barrel fitted (I have a Argentinian 1909 in 6.5-06 as well but someone saw me coming and although it looks nice the barrel is toast). The FN is going to be fitted into a nice Gordon Cusens "Rigby" style semi-inlet I have.
Personally I'd go for 6.5x47 before the Creedmore, you'll have more mag lenght to seat how you like and the performance of all the short 6.5's is within a gnats whisker.
And that (6.5x47 ) is I think how I will set up a Mauser Kurz action I have being worked on at the moment, I know the more authentic chambering is 6.5x54 Mauser but . . . . the unobtainium of dies, cases etc for this gives much pause for thought.
