Whenever some one questions hunting ethics the first thing from the peanut gallery is the guy must be a vegan or anti. Nope I've been a hunter my whole life and I or friends eat every thing I shoot while real hunting. Killing tame planted birds because you rationalise how busy you are and have tto many commitments, too far to drive and want to kill something to take pix with the gun you are so proud of, and insinuating that is sport, isn't fair to the birds and it isn't fair chase hunting despite the fellows here writing each of us to decide for yourself what is fair chase, or going ahead to do whatever makes you happy. You can rationalise any thing that way. Some here should do serious thinking on hunting ethics and fair chase hunting beyond talk groups where you sit with your morning coffee or evening cocktail and are entertained and influenced by what you see and read, right or wrong as it is.
