I supervise the second shift and my wife is a teacher, so from Saturday morning until Sunday night is the only time I see her all week. Make scheduling a bit tricky. I get out weekday mornings, but there just isn't enough time from getting the kids on the bus until getting ready for work to drive far enough to get to birds.

I finally found a place with woodcock about an hour from my house last year and the county closed it off as an RV park this year. To be honest I feel worse shooting a wild gamebird whose population is dropping than I do shooting a bird who was hatched and raised in captivity. Do those of you who dislike shooting farm raised birds only eat steaks from wild bovines?
