I thought "Ol Betsy" was a rifle, never heard of Dan'l using a shotgun. "WHO" in their right mind would want 42" bbls on a 16ga double.

You're right of course, that 42" bbl should Reach Out about a Foot farther than a 30" one.

I think it's the same gun Elmer Fudd used and Bugs Bunney tied the barrels in a knot.

I have a 32 inch 20 gauge Smith and have to be careful carrying it with barrels down from sticking it in ground.With 42 inch barrels i do not know! But i would like one with barrels that long. Bobby
