FYI ! NATCHEZ SHOOTERS SUPPLY has 2 1/2in RIO brand 12ga shells in #7.5,8 and 9 shot on sale. I ran shipping from one to twenty cases. Cheapest at 5,7&8 case lots.

I went to their website. I was unable to find 12 gauge 2-1/2" shells in Rio or any other brand. http://www.natchezss.com/index.cfm

I ordered the Rio "2 1/2" s emptys from Ballistic Products and they are 2 5/8 , the same length as AAs etc., not actually 2 1/2s. Careful.

Found them, 6.19 a box. Rio shells Anyone know an approximate pressure on these? Thanks, CHAZ I just checked the total on 2 cases and with shipping the price was within 10 bucks of B&P (free shipping).

The cost for a flat sent to my zip would be $92.00. B&P 2 5/8" Sub-Sound is $82. Granted the B&P are out of stock now, but the savings is worth the wait. I have some B&P's nice patterns and the recoil is about nil.
I'll stick with B&P.
Thanks for the links, worth a look at least.
Best!

On one or two cases the shipping cost is out of sight. You need to purchase 5,7 or 8 cases to get shipping in line. It's so much cheaper. Also, be aware that some B&P flats only contain 8 boxes. Tom

If you plan ahead when going to any of the big sxs events and call RST in advance, they'll have your shells for you. Good way to save on shipping, and to avoid hauling a lot of ammo to a sxs event when you can pick it up there.
