Dr Jim and I have an article in the Spring DGJ on the Smith Long Range Wild Fowl, with 82 yard pattern testing by David Williamson, and I have not yet received the usual preview issues. But the USPS still sends mail down the Mogollon by mule train

I used to be able to get the DGJ from my local magazine rack at Hastings. No more DGJ on the news stands. So I called this past week (Thurs.) to subscribe. She asked me on the phone if I wanted to start with the spring volume. I would have thought you guys would have already gotten it by now. Oh well, I guess I'll wait too. As an aside, I did get both volumes of TPS so I can look up for myself the configration of these great shotguns.

Arrived today in Northcentral Wisconsin with what feels like a thinner more flexible cover. Lots of eye candy including a feature article with oodles of mouth-watering photos of Ansley's DE.

Nothing in Maryland yet. I can't wait to read about the long range pattern testing.
