Ok, now we are getting somewhere. Kevin...that is the serial number. I have not wanted to give the number because I don't own the gun and am not sure what is acceptable. Thanks you! This should clear up lots of questions from all of us. You guys are really good, you came to correct conclusion, even with poor pictures!

One thing that kept nagging at me during this whole conversation was the wood on the gun. None of my pictures showed the wood and I kick myself for not getting any. This is after the fact, but I remembered not being impressed with the wood for the Grade gun it was. I usually notice the quality of wood and remember it as not being highly figured. I would imagine that would be representative of an O grade gun. Maybe Kevin can comment on that and confirm what I think I saw.

So, more questions and discussion please.

I would say who ever did the work is very good. Did they weld up the water table and then restamp the grade?

This is a great example for everyone to be careful in what they are considering and to get others opinion. That being said, what would the real value of this gun be as an upgrade?
