I looked at a Fausti 20 gauge Traditions the other day. Looked to be a good quality O/U. It had some engraving, was coin finish,ejectors with a semi vent rib. What is the story behind these. It was marked made in Italy

Unless the Traditions guns have changed, they're on the heavy side. Much more so than the guns marketed under the Fausti name. But they're also less expensive.

The 20 gauge I looked at was used in excellent condition with screw in chokes, and ejectors. Priced at $300.00. Were these that much of an inexpensive gun?

Phil if you are looking at a Fausti their high end guns are excellent.

Went in today as I decided to buy. Gun was put on layaway earlier. I really think for $300.00 it was a good buy I am hoping some young guy put it on layaway and it will be a heck of a gun when he gets it paid off and takes some birds with it. I know yerars ago this was how I needed to do it a few bucks each pay day. I am still glad there are a few gun shops left that still do this.

I have a Fausti Traditions in 20 ga and these are good guns and IMO underated.
