A friend of mine has an O/U Franchi that has broken the top lever
spring.The top lever spring is a flat, spirally wound "clock" type spring with an end that the spring screw contacts broken off.
Any ideas where to find one of these?

I enquired to the UK Franchi agent about spares for older Franchi guns as similar question was asked today . The reply was that the modern Franchi company is different to the old company and that there are no parts available for older guns .
I know the spring you refer too and it will be a matter of hoping some one has one on stock . I seem to think there was another Italian OU that had a similar spring but I can not remember which ,or indeed if they are inter-changeable .
