Looking for someone to stock a Model 21 in a target style stock. Would like someone close to N.C. as possible but open to suggestions. Right now this is still in the planning stage.

Competition Gun Stocks in Quaker City Ohio. They are formerly part of the Umberger family of stockmakers and thier work and prices are as good as they get. Had a forend made for my JP Sauer bird gun and they are currently restocking a Parker DHE 20 for me. Turn around is good and thier work is well known. They are not in North Carolina, but Ohio is close. Let me know if you would like a number.

Larry Schuknecht is a good stock maker , woodworker and gunsmith. I too recommend Larry.

A good friend of mine was in love with 21s and over the decades had acquired a number of them. He had two restocked to his dimensions at New England Custom Gun. They did a magnificent job. He also had the barrels rust blued at the same time.

It might be worth getting your own blank - there are some incredible Turkish walnut blanks on the market - you can buy them over there for a reasonable price.

Unfortunately NEC is in NH and not NC but they are totally reliable. Check out their website - it's been revised.

I used Dan Printz in N.C. (forgot the town name). Does nice work at a reasonable price.
