Anyone have first hand knowledge of this year's outlook for Wyoming Antelope hunting? We are/were planning a "doe hunting" trip, but many of the areas are now closed for does, and others seem to have few buck licenses. Was last year's drought responsible for decreased antelope tags this year?

One Wyoming game warden suggested we stay home this year.

In past years we hunted near Riverton, and did well.

Any info welcomed....the application deadline is this week.

The Wyoming Game Biologists in Cheyenne would be the ones I would speak with....they are knowledgeable, friendly and always willing to speak with non-residents.......just about all of them hunt as well.........

These guys do the helicopter head counts and know what's going on.......

Wow... anyone here at DoubleGunShop know how the kudu hunting will be in Tanzania?

Any hunting in Tanzania is great esp Kudu but you didn't specify the Greater or Lesser Kudu

Wyoming is getting a lot more snow/moisture than Comirado and we saw a lot of antelope last year even though it was CRAZY dry. I'm not worried. We put in for our tags earlier.
