Hello,

Is anyone familiar with Sandvik steel barrels? Would Sandvik steel barrels be considered good barrels for a SxS shotgun? The shotgun in question would have been made in the 1920's.

Thanks in advance!

I have few of my grandfathers hand saws that were marked Sandvik.

One of many reasons the Nazis courted the Swedes in the WW2 era- Sweden has rich ore deposits crucial to making alloyed and stainless steels- and additionally, why Latrobe PA was in the top five list of targets the Nazis had then in WW2 for either long range bombers or rocket launchers from subs--

I have a set of cabinet makers steel chisels with Sandvik Steel- you couldn't write a big enough check to buy them from me either-- Sandvik and Bofors, Ya- real gut dere!!!
