Hunter One Triggers take a bad rap. The biggest problem with a HOT is giving the gun to a gunsmith that knows nothing of the HOT. Many, many times I've heard that the gun worked before being given to a gunsmith and after getting it back, didn't. One simply thing was they tightened the lock plate connecting screw one turn or even a half turn too much.
Basically a great design with few moving parts.
Want to look at a nightmare, look at an Infallable.
