The one-piece box for the Super-X first appears in the October 15, 1933, Western Cartridge Co. paper, but the shells with it still appear to be the Field shell. Some 1934 paper still shows the Field head stamp, but some show the style brass of the first shell pictured with the Patent info and a Super-X head stamp. The Super-X 12-gauge 3-inch shells and all the Super-X shells with Lubaloy shot were catalogued as being in the high brass Record shell at least until the Super-X got the Super-Seal crimp in 1948.
