Well, I may have a hitch in my get-along, but I have seen reference to Robert Scheer of Sommerfeld being a source but thanks to Günter I now know that Gebrauchsmuster 42590 is for a pop-up sight:
72(Klasse) - 42590 sighting apparatus for Drilling-Hunting Rifles, where the sight is adjusted (moved) with a U-shaped pushrod next to the top rib. Robert Scheer, Sommerfeld, Frankfurt a/O (an der Oder) 15/6 1895
There may be an earlier DRP or Gebrauchsmuster for Scheer.
But Franz Luck has Gebrauchsmuster 45592 which does involve some lockwork. I wonder if he or Gebrüder Luck is the owner of those odd script Ls?
72(Klasse) - 45592 self-cocking three-barrel gun with removable locks, where firing pins are
situated in line between triggerplate and (Studel – part of the lock) and are pushed forward by integral hammers
Franz Luck for Gebrüder Luck, Suhl i. Th(üringen) 8/8 1895
Kind Regards,
Raimey
