I was attempting to track down the origins of the Blitz/triggerplate action and in Germany the culprit might have been Robert Scheer of Sommerfeld, Kremmen Crossen, Brandenburg under Gebrauchsmuster 42590 on June 15th, 1895, not being a DRP. About this time(1888-1892), a Gus Karl Leimer was an apprentice there. Of course there were other possible origins like John Dickson & Joseph Maréchal of Liege. I wonder if any were manufactured prior to 1895?

Kind Regards,

Raimey
