Hey, Shipmate! It has been awhile. How is the world treating you? Thanks for the info on the scope. I mounted it on a new Ruger Number 1 in .303 British and will attempt to make little cloverleafed groups with my cast bullet handloads. I needed something new in my retirement to keep from going insane with all the time I have on my hands. Cheers!
I'll drink to that- but i didn't realize Ruger offered the .303 British in their fine No. 1 single shot- what type and grain weight cast bullets will you use- also any dope on powder and primers would be of interest. The .303 is a fine caliber (actually .311" I am told) so it falls between our .30 cal. (.308) and the German 7.9x57mm at .323--I have an older Ruger No. 1 in .22-250 with a 12X Unertl scope- very accurate indeed.
