My wife made me very happy today - she said it is time to buy a bigger gun cabinet. But wait, it gets better -- she suggested something that holds about 25 long guns.
Currently I am using an 8 gun sheet metal cabinet from Dick's, but the collection has overflowed it.
I am looking for a cabinet that looks like furniture, most likely an armoire, because it will be in our bedroom. Although I like the idea of a 25 gun cabinet (and my wife's attitude), probably a 16 gun cabinet would suffice since I am only up to 9 long guns or so now. I am not looking for a safe, but something that can be locked securely enough to keep children out. Further, because my wife's friends are "from the blue part of the state," as she puts it, she does not want anything with glass doors.
Can anyone recommend or direct me to someone who makes or sells such a piece of furniture? I am hoping to keep the price reasonable, but would hope for something decent.
