This rifle is serial #82147 1948 transitional model.

The Redfield one piece base is mounted on the top.

The left side has two holes 3" apart on the receiver just above the stock line.

Two more holes are below the stock line each directly under the above holes making a rectangle with only 4 holes. The two bottom holes are not visible except by looking down the inletted area.

The stock is nicely inletted for the base but with only 4 holes I do not know what base it is
