Aloha all,
New member and starting out with a question. Have a double 12 gauge that was my grandfather's and need to repair/replace the stock. Also, any info on it would be appreciated. So far I have ascertained, from stampings, that it was your run of the mill hardware store, working gun variety (which was its duty on the farm).
Stampings include H.S.B. & Co; Chicago;a chicken image with RUSO inside; on top of left barrel it states "genuine armory steel choke bored"
Am sure monetary value is low, but sentimental value is extremely high. I have the first 20 single that he bought me and two other singles (12 & 16) that resided on his gun rack. I would like to restore her and have a completes "memory" set.
Will try to add pictures when I figure it out.
Aloha,
HIPunch
