The reason I ask this question is because I recently returned a gun which was misrepresented to me as quite likely 'new'. Well, the gun was not new and had been reblued. I returned the gun and the owner is claiming I shot the gun....I did not fire the gun.... And he claims it now has rings on the action face so I had to have shot the gun. This guy is a crook and is trying to not refund my money in full, but I was wondering just how many shots it takes with a new gun before the rings show up on the action face??
