I wouldn't get too wrapped up about what marks are or are not there. Mine really vary with who made them. KFC/Miroku/Hibiki (all the same company) have fairly complete marks. My Hamada sidelock (beautiful gun) has only the serial number and gauge on it. My Kasugas have good markings, but one other no name (assumed to be a Kasuga) has almost no markings on it. From what I can tell, some of the small makers did not put a lot of marks on the guns.
