Sounds good- if they put a bounty on them- MI is debating the possibility of an open season (sans bounty) on wolves- greatest number of which seem to be in the Indian areas of both the Lower and Upper P's-- of course, the Indian tribes here can: shoot and hunt without limit, license or season, a well as fleece the White Man with their casinos- but to them, just as to Hitler, the wolf and eagle are sacred creatures. The PITA and Humane Society numbnutz are of course, opposed to controlled hunting of anything with wings, fur or 4 feet on the ground-- and as no one hunts wolves for the meat, as opposed to the deer and elk in MI which the wolves are free to feast on, as well as both farm and domestic animals at their will-- much like their midget cousins in the Lupus familiae- the coyotes- there is a season on 'yotes here, also trapping is allowed. But you are right, I miss-spelled the word Laupa- mea culpa- don't have one yet, nor, for that matter, a pre-64 M70 in .338 Winchester Mag-would like to try those mid-.30's calibers on some feral piggies however--Now that's a Green Light- in MI- you can kill them 24/7/365- no closed season, no daily limit. Cheers

For black and white to finishing: Brad, MBABLLC and Dale Edmunds would all be fine choices.
What type of hammer work do you need done? Just curious.

Thanks for the good close photos that show my friend Brad's first class work-- I live about a 45 minute drive from his shop in NE sector of Grand Rapids--and it is always a treat to see his craftsmanship on display-- both on customer guns awaiting pick-up by their lucky owners, or on the fine guns for sale there- not just Parkers either- many English and European side-by guns as well, and a few custom rifles I would be tempted to rob a bank for--

That would be mea culpa no. 2.

Let's try this one more time.

Lapua is the correct spelling, not Lupa or Laupa.

The the part on that connects the hammer spring to what ever makes the hammer work had broken and is gone. The triggers seem to be real close together maybe one is bent. I measured the inside of the barrels which by the way seem very good and came out with about .775. I tried to measure the thickness 9 inches from the breech with the brownells thickness guage and due to time I couldn come up with a figure that seemed right.Could it have read .185 . I'll have to re try I was in a rush.
The only thing I don't like about it is it must have about a two inch drop at the comb being a short Irishman like about a one inch.

I talked to Brad Bachelder yesterday and he seems like a straight up guy. He also said he would move mine up an all your guns to the back burner and rush mine out.
