Like I said I am only really interested in classic American Doubles, and even given those I am only looking for Lefevers and any gaps where I do not have at least one example. A nice Lefever 12g C grade changed hands.
There were many high grade English and other European guns that are nice to look at but way above my price range. I have no idea whether they were reasonably priced.
There had to be at least 100 Parkers and 50 LC Smiths some of which were very nice but I already have one of each so I didn't pay a lot of attention to the prices. Not as many Foxes and only a couple of low grade Lefevers besides the C grade and a 7D crossbolt that was over priced. I searched in vain for a high grade Remington 1894. There were a couple of low grades that were reasonably priced.
By and large I would say the attendance was down a little bit from last year, but I have no data to back that up other than my impression.
I would also say that the prices at the independents and little dealers were in general much better than the inflated prices we are seeing on the internet sites. The big dealers are what they are.

You would be surprised at the funny looks I received when I asked if I could photograph their guns! I also got the, "Don't put a photo of me on the Internet."

There were many nice SxS's, English, European, and American. There were also as many nice Winchesters and Colts!

I saw a very high condition Parker AHE 10 gauge magnum with straight grip and 32" barrels. The price was somewhere near $55,000. Ouch!

PS: This is a link to a You Tube video of the Hosford Barrel Wall Thickness Tool. Everyone who buys old shotguns needs one of these!
