Thanks, we can always count on you for the European Proofs. There are no other stampings on the under rib or the watertable. Do you think that the 11.0 at the end of the data string could represent NOV 1900?

The buttstock is long gone, the search is on for a replacement. I was able to snap a few photos today, we can't see any evedence of a relined rifle barrel, the bore is about perfert. There are two flip-up leaf blade in the rib. He fireformed a 9.3 x 72, cut back to 58mm (5 grains of Bullseye under a full case of Cream-of-Wheat), it matches up to some 8x58R Sauer that I have for my Meffert Hammer Drilling.
