I have the same Bernardelli, but not as nice. The hammers on mine are not to uncomfortably far enough apart to cock both with the span of one thumb. Is the Bernardelli stronger gun than the Uggie? I don't know but I have NEVER seen an Uggie with the lever left of center.
Here is an Ugartechea Model 221 20 ga. (a model 30 with chopper lump barrels) with one barrel set up for a wildcat 35X30-30.
I have also seen an Ugartechea factory 'Deer hunter's Special' on what looked like a white model 30 frame with a deer on each side of the receiver and open chokes. I think we all know how stout deer loads are.
