In the car biz they say "there is an ass for every seat"
The fact that he can sell these liabilty traps proves that saying!

The worst yet! It is amazing what can be done with barn wood and a torch. Ed1 give the visually impaired a bad name!

Don't worry about the poor wood fit, look at the poor fit of the rib extension into the receiver. This is a parts gun with barrels from another receiver. In line with the other work he probably adjusted the hook to fit the pin with a mallet. And that top lever didn't bend with just limited heat. He needed to bend it way over because that was the only why to make it look like these barrels belonged on here. Just where does this guy cross the illegal line in his advertising? If ever there was a case for proof laws in USA, old Ed is sure making a good argument. We need a good lawyer to buy the gun then sue him for incompetence/misrepresentation.

I never stick around long enough to notice who is buying his guns. Is there any evidence of a shill bidder being responsible for his completed sales? Maybe someone should give it a look.

I went back to mid January and at least 50 or 60 sales in his feedback file before I found a torch gun. It was a $1500 20 gauge Sterlingworth. I don't think he actually sells many of the torch guns.

If Ed ran a cathouse he would use super glue to make the old hookers into virgins. His guns are getting nastier every day, if possible. I guess the moneny for stock fiishing includes glass bedding all those gaps. Nasty.

Is this any worse? Maybe Ed is subbing his work offshore. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=66987996

Eightbore,

I hear what you're saying but even his un-restored guns are not what they seem. I got a Miroku/Daly SxS from him. In his photos all looked great when it arrived the un-photographed section of the grip had chunks of wood missing (pencil eraser size) I called him on it. He said his gunsmith would repair the "scratches" for $10.00. I bought it for a restock so it didn't matter in material, but in principal well it was a bum deal. I could have re-sold the stock.

NASTY. That gun makes me want to throwup. Only good thing to say about it is that Remington has not started putting their name on them yet.

Harry, I don't look at his good guns either. I just wouldn't do business with him at all. Return shipping on an unacceptable gun ruins almost any deal.
