Just returned from a hunting trip and thought I'd chime in. Thanks for the very kind words as always gentlemen. Now that I've been doing this a while, my grain enhancement efforts have become less heavy handed, and more subtle and translucent. Extension blending is also my specialty and, while quite difficult, is very rewarding. Here's a 3" extension blend to a checkered butt on a minty LC Smith I completed recently.
