Can the readers here recommend a stock painter who can turn my Standard Model 70 stock into an exibition grade smoke and honey English walnut masterpiece with his paint brush?

Mark is the man! He does wonderful work, here's an example of what he did on my 16ga Franz Sodia Hammergun:





The marks on the stock are not in the finish, just ones made during shooting. They wiped right off. The finish he uses is very durable. The stock is better in person BTW.

If you have an example of what you want he'll try his best to duplicate it.

Can't say enough good about him or his work.

Mark Larson did a terrific job me blending a wood extension. I did not want to restock the gun until I knew the dimensions were right and the look of the extension bugged me. I have hunted the gun hard and the finish Mark put on has held up.

While I do not see it a permanent solution, Mark does a great job.
