I'm partial to Francottes, had 3 looked at a fair few, & I have always though (& bought) the ones from the VL&D era were just so much classier than the A&F Guns.The ones I had were all 12 bore pigeon weight..a really sweet 1904 #18e with the stock fine chequered panels & just deadly carved ribband fences, lovely engraving all over it...but it had fatal flaws :(, & two 20e's,from 1926 & 29, one was the 32" vent rib pigeon/trap gun, too big for me @ 81/2lbs +, but was quite a hunk of gun!
Never liked the "modern" ones as much, so I wouldn't buy it, but I'm sure its a nice gun, but couldn't put a price on it
