OP jeweler Sidelock Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 820 Likes: 1 mississippi	We were shooting homemade no#6 lead but we are switching to bismuth No #4 for the next load. Knocking them down over decoys was not a problem we just never knocked down any stone dead. I shot no 6 federal premium 2 3/4 mag's in the 80's and it was awsome I would like to match that with the black powder or come close to it.I think it is going to take #4 shot. I had a guy at a trap shoot say he had a 3 inch W.C.Scott Hammer gun that I'll have to check on.I never have heard of a 3 inch Hammer gun much less an early english.
