Oh my God. I was on a self imposed hiatus from the computer world over Christmas, and logged on five minutes ago directly to this site (my favorite, by the way). To say I'm shocked would put it mildly.
He helped me soooo much these last few years. He patiently coached me through the tribulations of fitting a set of double set triggers to a Mauser, advised me on some small Martini issues, and set me up with my current custom Krag project. He sold me a complete 1896 Krag action, and threw in a NOS bolt to boot- when I thanked him his reply was "I thought that would make you smile, grin:)". His prompt reply to my emails was a given, and I was perplexed by his non-reply to my last one. Now I know.
