This one followed me home from Tulsa. Well done sporter using the original Winchester target stock. One interesting thing about this one is about 4" was cut off the end of the barrel and the original front sight base reattached. As the sight base was integral to the barrel originally, the gunsmith had to machine the barrel off, leaving the front sight so it could be soldered to the new end of the barrel. He even crowned it just like the winchester crown. Took me a while to figure that one out. The barrel was not set back as the muzzle diameter is bigger than on an original 52, and all the markings are still in the right place.





I recognize those sling swivels, but not sure from where, anyone?
The trigger guard has been nickle plated so I'll need to get that striped and have it blued.
