Thanks again. It took a 6MM Socket Allen as described. The bolt did come all the way out of the stock.

If you cannot resist the impulse to proceed to complete takedown just remember that the trigger return spring is the one delicate part of the action. It is very easy to bend or break. It is a rat trap like spring that keeps the triggers back and is held in place by a pin.

Just soaking the action in solvent will clean old grease etc, and a blow with compressed air will complete the cleaning.

And while you have it apart just admire how much more robust and efficient this action is compared to the Anson Deeley- I could not resist that dig!
