Not that familiar with N140 but as I recall this is a rather slow powder. Be very cautious with reduced loads of slow powders in a rifle case which do not fill or near fill the case. Although Secondary Explosion Effect (SEE) most often occurs in high volume cases I would not rule it entirely out. Using a slow enough powder one could pour full & pack in & shoot these loads for a century with no ill effect have been known to take a rifle apart with reduced loads.
