The cost bump probably won't be much of a deal breaker in the long run. The biggest rub as far as I'm concerned is that what your actually buying is 10 half day permits for the first two weeks of the season. Having to sit around until noon before you can hunt is just nut's IMO. "But I still do it"

But then again if you do the math. Even with the increase it still only comes out to $12.00 a day. Compare that with a lift ticket at say Vail or Aspen. Vail's web site lists an adult one day lift ticket @ $100.00 and they sell a bunch of them.

As far as the preserve license fee increase. If you can afford $1500.00 to $2000.00 for a three day hunt at some of the preserve lodges. Thirty five extra bucks won't break the bank.
