Ive never felt drawn to the pigeon ring but id drive hours for some good drone shooting.

If SHARK, PETA, HSUS and the like are successful in making pigeon shoots illegal I suppose the next thing is field trialing, then bird hunting. I suppose if I think any of those are worthwhile endeavors I ought to find out where to send my money to support and sustain pigeon shoot rights. Might as well have the battle there.
As electronics and optics get better and cheaper SHARK is bound to get their movies sooner or later.

The easiest and most effective way to deal with these RC models with cameras is to blast it with a boatload broadband RF noise, the thing goes down, nobody knows why. No shots, no shotgun damage, longer range, no evidence of anything other than these guys put an aerial vehicle over private property possibly endangering others when they lost control of it.

It happened here, well, just across the river from me, in February of this year, in South Carolina. That remote controlled thingy didn't have a chance. Law enforcement was present, and had no problem with them taking it down.
Couple years ago I was at the same place at a flyer shoot when a helicopter kept circling the rings. A cameraman was leaning out of the chopper filming. The owner made one call to a congressman friend and the FAA called the chopper back to the airport it came from. We understood the pilot was threatened with the loss of his license.

I think the anti group would be liable for trespass and other possible privacy torts. Airspace is not public below a certain altitude.

Hindi decked a friend of mine working at the pigeon shoot a few months ago; there's a restraining order out on Hindi, so they used a drone I guess.
My friend is a hell of a shot....
